From Port Douglas, to the Great Barrier Reef and beyond, to all parts of Tropical North Queensland and its waters, Joe Joe is at your service.

Comfortably accommodating 6 guests for overnight or extended cruising, MV Joe Joe has a Master Cabin with ensuite bathroom and shower, and 2 Twin Cabins each with ensuite bathroom.

The Main Saloon has all the creature comforts with sumptuosly finished furnishings, flat screen TV and DVD, Yamaha sound system, bar fridge and a galley equipped for gourmet catering.

On deck there is a swim platform with ladder, freshwater shower, built-in BBQ and outdoor wetbar. Our 4 metre 50hp tender is at your disposal - it can even pull a water skier if you're up for it!

You will be absolutely amazed at the clarity of the waters, the wilderness experience, and the diversity of life on its uninhabited islands, wilderness coastline, pristine rivers and of course one of the seven natural wonders of the world - Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Sometimes just being there is rewards enough, and then we have the fishing.

Experience quality reef fishing for coral trout, red emperor, nannygai and trevally; to game fishing for the monster blue and black marlin (seasons apply), sailfish, wahoo, spanish mackerel, yellowfin and other tuna, GT's and mahi mahi - chose the angling location and preferred fishing "style" to suit your needs.

Regions like the Hinchinbrook Channel, Princess Charlotte Bay and Lizard Island are special and the quality of the fishing outstanding.

Scuba and Snorkel

The Great Barrier Reef is the only living mass that can be seen from outer space. It has more than 2900 individual reefs and around 900 islands. There are some 400 different types of hard and soft corals, 4000 molluscs and in excess of 1500 species of fish.

The Reef is also a breeding ground for a number of rare and endangered species including the annual pilgrimage of Humpback, Pilot and Minke Whales. These marine giants journey north from the Antarctic to give birth in our warm local waters. This natural wonder can often be viewed by visitors to the Reef under strict conditions outlined by the Marine Parks Authority.

Independent snorkel trips are at your discretion although our crew will be at hand for 'in water' and onboard safety monitoring services. If you prefer, we can teach you and your family to snorkel.

For the more advanced divers, we can design an itinerary to suit your interest and level of experience. Dive sites can include such world renowned locations as the Cod Hole and Osprey Reef, plus some of those where only the professional local divers spend their leisure time.

Queensland has one of the highest safety records for SCUBA. Under strict Queensland law, a fully qualified divemaster or dive instructor must accompany all dives and our crew will arrange this on your behalf.
