Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic
Australia's prestigious Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic heavy tackle tournament will again be held in October this year outside the world famous Ribbon Reefs near Lizard Island.
After such a successful 2009 heavy tackle season enquiries are already starting to come in. Statistics have shown that 70% of 1000lb black marlin are caught on our doorstep, the Great Barrier Reef. After such an awesome season this figure will more likely to have changed to 85-90%. With word spreading globally of our recent marlin season, dates between September - November will not last long.
